I took my 00 200 EXC for a ride yesterday in the Glasshouse Mts near Brisbane (AU)...

It didn't quite go to plan...

And a taste of the places I have been.

If you look closely at this photo ^ you will see down in the valley or plain is a straight stripe that starts in the dark ground and moves into the lightly colored ground. That is the air strip used in the movie "flight of the phoenix".

My friend and his yfz450. The older gentlemen is my father he used his xt600 (1985) and my 250sx

Hallo everyone! Here are my two 200cc smokers!

My all time favourite (and in my eyes the most beautiful dirtbike ever made) Yamaha DT200WR (a road version of WR200)

And the reliable - mr. do-it-all 1988 Yamaha DT200R

Hopefully one day I'll update this thread with a Suzuki TSR200 and a Kawa KDX200R '96 or later

Barbie is just added to the stable. '91 with less than 500 miles.

Koolaid is the favorite...hard to top Orange.

Greenie is sold, but the bike that started my love affair with 200's.

I have the wr200 myself, please tell me you have a place you know of for parts.

I like it (1984) so much I bought a later model parts bike for the front disc brake.

This actually a 175 but...mods include a 21" front wheel and Preston Petty fenders-free bike #1

Free bike #2 '83 KDX 200 Got it started, then it stopped. Pulled the cylinder off when I found a washer jammed in between the piston and wall. A donor bike has been found and it will run again. This was the only year of red.

I know these KDX's are cute as bugs,they run for ever and harm nothing in the process.

Having said that Ive had 3 KTM200's, a 2001,2004 and a 2008. Its honestly hard to tell if the engine is turned on riding a KDX around after riding a good running orange 200. Not that there's anything wrong with slow and heavy 200 2 strokes.

Riding a 300 currently but looking for a good 200.
