Odd headlight issue

I apologize if this has been brought up before.. I've spent hours looking at wiring diagrams and searching the forums.. not really sure what phrases to use though.

2004 950 Adventure S, euro headlight, no euro light switch.

Intermittently for a while, and now permanently, the headlamp will not come on (regular or high-beam), but the blue high-beam indicator on the dash is staying lit. Doesn't matter what combination of settings you use for the high/low-beam, or high-beam flasher.. condition persists. All fuses good, both the switches seem to be operating correctly. (EDIT: I took the switches apart and no burned contacts, no dirt.. everything seemed fine)

Other than that, the bike starts and runs flawlessly.

Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas for things to check before I start ripping apart the fairings and attack it with a DMM?

Thanks,
-Justin
