Well, I'm using Chrome so things is much better. Really too early to tell, but so far 8 looks like a poor mans Mac OS. The "App" store is a joke, and you would think since I upgraded from the hell known as Vista I would see some impressive speed. IMO, Win 7 - 64 bit would have been a better bet. I am an XP fan but this 64 bit is not too bad.

Not heard much good about 8.

I just wish I was better at Ubuntu....

I've been using 7 64 bit for a while on my game machine and it's been great but I never bothered to upgrade my laptop. I went with 8 for it because it's less then half the price of 7. Since all I use the laptop for is reading the internet and e-mails and using Mapsource and Basecamp I lived with crappy ole Vista up till now.

Todd loves Ubuntu, he;s been using it for years. I just use the Apple version of Ubuntu, they call it Mac OS but it's just Linux with a fancy GUI,

Wendy has that Nook color too. She got a cover that has you hold it like a hardcover. She loves it. I'm old school and still prefer paper books.

I got Martha that binder for the Nook. I still hate it. The iPhone 5 is the right size for me and I do read books on my phone. Trouble with that is that I need surgeons magnifying glasses to read it.
