Anyone heading out this weekend? After this weather the dirt should be great. Was thinking of a Verdi-Loyalton-Bordertown-Verdi loop.

Both... hopefully we'll be able to ski this year!!! Last season sucked so bad!

Dust Devils MC have a impromptu ride/campout up at Moon Rocks starting today.
May be worth checking out, I havent ridden up there before.

Not sure if I can get the full day pass

Either way I'm planning on riding somewhere

I need to get some maps of the area. I'm in Garderville I know Reno / boomtown is 65ish miles north of me some of the names you use it would be nice to pull out a map and see the are referenced.

We are still unpacking which looks like it will never fit in the house or ever end.

Are you on your new bike? Pictures..?? I went out to start my diesel truck that has not been driven in several mos and it did not like it. Checking that out now. I am sure I will pass by the moon rocks sometime this weekend .....does anyone have a plan?

Did a 50 mile loop this morning
Boomtown > dog valley > lookout campground > Border town and back.
I looooove this new bike

I couldn't find my GPS, I was solo, on a new bike in an unfamiliar area in the snow. . .what could go wrong?

Look Out campground looked like a great campground (in summer)
Was going up off shoots of the main trail but kept running into more of this

On the trail to Verdi Peak

Not even registered yet

Obligatory Stampede stop

4.8 hours on the clock, time for the first oil change

You can't go wrong in Reno

Looks like it would have been a blast in that snow! The bike looks much nicer with a bit of dirt on it
