I know you think you won't ride it, and you hate it sitting around. I went through exactly the same thing with my 04 GSA. It was sitting, no time, different interests, I was riding dirt more, etc. A year after selling it I was kicking myself, and spent a long time looking for a worthy replacement. I thought a 1200 GSA would do it for me, and that was a mistake as it's such a different bike from the 1150s. Seriously, just really think about it a while longer.
I've thought about it for awhile, and it really hurts, but I just don't see things changing any time soon. I love this bike, but I only love riding it on trips, it's just too big for around town. The funny thing is, most of the guys who have contacted me are guys who owned one and sold it, and now want to replace theirs.

I really want to do some serious riding in the future, but realistically, I'm looking at ten years out, so, I need to free up the garage space. Whoever ends up with her is going to have a real sweetheart though... they better love her.

Beautiful bike. Even though I can look outside and see mine, I still like looking at the pictures.

Tell you what, you buy the bike, and I'll throw in the shock for free.

You can always use two.

[QUOTE=Rugby Bum;19863874]I found a 2006gsa limited addition with 3000 miles on it. The oler gentleman never rides it, and would like to sell it. It has a two brother y pipe and exhaust, 3 piece luggage set and a bmw gps. I would rate this a 10 out of a 10 for condition. The blue book under states the value. What would be a fair price.
Thanks[/QUOT-10E]

I only know I paid 11k for mine with 10k miles four years ago. Extra's were BMW side cases, Touratech tank bag, and a Marseille soft rear bag. Paid the asking price, and am very happy with the ride 37k on the bike now. so, if that luggage is the heavy duty BMW stuff, that's worth 2k.......... I'd pay 8-10k......... or more if I had to. One thing about the bikes that aren't ridden that much, rubber seals ( like in the ABS unit ) can dry out. My buddy bought a 2006 with 600 miles on it, two years ago, and had some problems with the ABS and I think the clutch.

All in all, it's a terrific bike, you will most likely keep it forever so pay what you need to pay. Oh, and there's not that many around................

RomaDakota--Ya gotta find the bike first and THEN grow 2 inches! Just giving you crap. Besides the Y-pipe and the 3 piece GSA luggage package it also comes with PIAA lights, kick stand skid plate, GPS, throttle lock and a BMW tank bag. He's also going to throw in his Rallye 2 pro jacket / 58, which is my size. I just offered him 10k for the package, which he has accepted.
Later,

Rugby Bum
Waiting for pics.

You did GREAT, especially with the $$$luggage package$$$$ not to mention the add-on's!

I gave $9k for mine one year ago. Came with a Givi top box for storage and a couple pairs of Hella lights and 24k miles - otherwise stock. I believe got a fair deal after seeing what comparable bikes were going for at the time.
