I ask because Frankenstein is up for sale, and an ST is one of my replacement bike choices.

Awesome job Moto. That's some serious riding. I'm inspired to take some time off from work to ride from NH to AZ to revisit Eggy meself. I finally recovered from the hang over that I got last time he visited. We stayed up drinking expensive scotch all night.

Patrick, come sign up at st-owners.com and get feel for it. I find the two sites (this 'n that) to be complimentary.

The Moki Memorial is to honor fallen riders from that organization, started specifically for Putt (Larry Grannell) who was also a member here but has grown some to remember others too.

I'm on my way to Albuquerque and had occasion to go through Twin Arrows this morning and Eggy is still under the bush waiting for someone to pick him up.

Eggy wanted to go east.

These guys invited him to breakfast:

He was not amused:

I decided this was a proper place to drop him:

If you're not already here, don't worry, he'll be in motion again soon......

Eggy has been collected from the site of the No Clever Name Rally on Lake Guntersville in Alabama.

I stopped by Twin Arrows on Wednesday afternoon on the way home from Indiana. Didn't have any plans to move Eggy so was glad to see him gone. (He's already been every where I'm likely to go for the next couple months.)

But I'll be watching for him during my travels next season.

When I woke up last Sunday morning at the No Clever Name Rally in Langston, Alabama, Eggy was nowhere to be found -- until I went down to the remains of Saturday night's fire. There was Eggy, passed out.

I suggested to Eggy that a swim to sober up might be a good idea.

Then Eggy took a nap while I broke camp.

We left No Clever Name headed for my house in South Carolina.

Eggy wanted to stop in Fort Payne, AL.

See Eggy hangin' with Randy?

We were riding with Phideaux, and he suggested that we check out the railroad turntable in Summerville, GA.

A sign said something about keeping hands and arms out of the fence. Eggy said, "I don't have hands or arms," and trespassed.

After we said goodbye to Phideaux in Dalton, GA (Eggy cried), we went over Fort Mountain. Eggy wanted to stop at an overlook to check out the fall colors in the Cohutta Mountains. It was pretty socked in, unfortunately.

We stopped in Royston, GA, but the museum wasn't open. Eggy was disappointed -- despite my earlier warnings that it wouldn't be open.

We got to my home in Abbeville, SC, Sunday evening.

I had to work all week. Eggy didn't.

Eggy went for a motorcycle ride.

And a Jeep ride.

On Halloween, Eggy dressed up as a knight. He borrowed the costume from a Sir William of Plaimeaux. Apparently, Sir William's friends call him Plaimeaux Bill.

Eggy also went for a ride with a new buddy he made. The guy is named Dean, and, supposedly, is a longtime member of some super-cool Adventure group.

Eggy rounded out the week with a canoe trip.

Then we hit the road ...

Eggy in Flatistan

Eggy wanted to go someplace warm, so we headed south.*

You'll find the egg in in Arcadia, Florida near a bar and grill called the Nav-a-gator.

You might want to try the gator bites. Or the burger.

(Sorry for all the crappy cellphone pics, and especially for this crappiest one.)

The restaurant's coordinates are

What the heck, here are the directions from their Website: "Take I-75 to Exit 170 (Kings Highway aka 769). Go east 3 miles (towards Arcadia), then take a right at the big yellow Nav-A-Gator billboard."

Here's that billboard:

When you get down to the bar and grill, look across the street (Peace River Street) for this sign and walkway.

Just a few feet down the walkway, you'll see this drainage culvert.

You'll find Eggy resting behind that palm that you see just above concrete drainage culvert. You'll have to get off the walkway and cross that little ditch to retrieve Eggy. After you cross the little ditch, look to your right under that palm. Take a flashlight and watch for snakes -- and gators!

Dyno added a green stuff sack while he had Eggy, so this is what you're looking for:

Go get Eggy!

All the best,
Chris

*(In the interest of full disclosure, I must confess that Eggy made the southward part of his travels with me in a car. I had plans to ride somewhere to drop Eggy this weekend, but my father-in-law passed away early Saturday morning, so my wife and I traveled by car to be with her mother. I brought Eggy along so that I wouldn't hold the game up for another week plus. Please accept my apologies for not staying within the true confines of the game. -- Chris)
