L.A.-Barstow to Vegas LAB2V 2012

The roll chart is LOOOOOONG, best advise I got last year was to cut it in half at the lunch break, load up first half in morning and second half after lunch. Made the roller operation much easier. Points above regarding GPS are dead on, the route(s) are very clear and called out. It is easy to cross check GPS and roll chart at any given spot.

Most likely will follow the regular route and go around most of the "hard ways". Will be riding the GS again.

Regular route with easy/hard options.

My two friends are planning to ride day two from Barstow to Vegas on these two restored Yamaha XS650's:

A 1970 mostly stock Yamaha XS650 and a highly modified 1980 Yamaha XS650 mounted in a Champion Frame with parts mounted from over 15 different bikes.

We did a shake down ride last Saturday to see how many parts would fall off and rode 'em hard and put 'em away wet:

I will be riding early sweep on the hard options unless my job changes between now and then.
