Nancy's has a couple of 'rustic' rooms for about half of what the big hotel/resort/what ever is across the arroyo.

At the time it was $50 cash per night. Includes breakfast (just be sure to check the bottom of the french toast *before* you take a bite). It's very, uh, "Baja". The restaurant there at Nancy's is *really* expensive (like, US expensive), but it was some damn good food.

It's been a couple of years since we were there, and Nancy was already in her 80s - so who knows if she's still there or not. Her Nephew was there off and on (rode an old Husky) - so maybe he's carrying on if she isn't.

Your post caught my eye. I am flying down on Tuesday, Nov 6th to meet a off road group in Cabo Pulmo. They will have completed a 8 day ride from Catavina to Cabo Pulmo. The riders are flying back to the Bay Area and myself and two other are driving the chase trucks/trailers and bikes back. I have never been to Cabo Pulmo before so I am looking forward to the trip.

I haven't been for several years, but stayed at the Casas. Wife and I were very happy. Nancy's was a bit to rustic for the money. We were just a few bucks more at the Casas but much nicer. I love cabo pulmo area. Enjoy.

Never got to ride there, but drove a rented car from San Jose Del Cabo about 10 years ago. Largest living reef on the west coast, so I was told. It did not disappoint. About 65 miles each way.

There were a few rustic 'casas on the beach there, but didn't check out any accomodations. We just drove up for the day. Took the coast road home and that was a mistake. All dirt in a old merc wagon.
