We've also tested at the same time other brands of LED, no comparison, none at all. BD is the only one really striving to make it as best as possible. |

I just got the call today, I'm going to co-drive the #503 Kellogg Motorsports class 5U car from Ensenada to El Crucero. We leave next week. Let the pre-funning begin!

Why don't they make a round array of LEDs in a lapaz 8 inch housing? I think while that setup Tim looks great, it's begging to have its top light ripped off. |

I guess I was wrong, even the factory boys dont have an long range LED that is a replacement for the HID. Cool setup none the less. That backbone looks like it could survive a head on with a semi! I'd love to know what it weighs. We were trying to figure out the right combination of LED/HID until I busted my wing. Some of what we tested(all frame mounted)......... ![]()

On the contrary this set-up should be far less vulnerable than typical dual 8" sets.
It also keeps the weight more centered and closer to the stem for better handling. Apples and oranges. I could really care less about what numbers companies claim, it's how they fit and work that matters. I would like to see some finished products other racers have done with other brands side by side on the same night (not photos, actual riding) to compare because with what we've tried, regardless of company claims, the Baja D lights are way better engineered. |

New Southbound Border Crossing
The new southbound crossing just opened up the other day. Here is a vid from a guy taking the new route as it winds around through the new stuff. Note to stay right to get on the toll road. I have no idea as to where in the new stuff you go to get your tourist visa, however SCORE has announced that they will be available at signup in Ensenada. I know that doesn't help those of you going south before the race.
