KLR650 oil help! - Page 3

My '06 model, now with 59,000 miles on her, has just in the last 10k started using a bit of oil...1qt./2,000 miles or so...

And, I've ran the Kawasaki oil exclusively, changing it religiously every 3,000 miles.

Only 1 valve adjustment so far, at 45,000 miles.....and this bike has led a hard, HARD life...off-road, 500 mile days on-road, racing a 24 Hour Hare-scramble....

So, my thoughts on oil??...... Just change it religiously........I personally don't think it matters much at all which oil is used, as long as its serviced regularly.
