[QUOTE=jbcaddy;19962889]My lady friend wants to know where she bought these shoes. Help a fellow out please!
They are made by a company called "Poetic Licence". She bought them at Nordstroms.

Sundays math word problem:
If you have two people, one 990, two street tires, two border crossings, three tanks of gas, two meals, one beer, two glasses of sangria, two hundred seventy miles, one long sand wash, one bike drop, gps top speed of ninety nine mph, one super cool hotel, ride east in the morning and west in the afternoon, how many sunburned noses will there be? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

One year wedding aniversary today.
Excellent! Awesome! Wow! Rollergirl still loves me, even though my idea of romance is taking her on a quick ride to Baja. Good ride. Really good lunch, then I killed her bike and she had to sit in a ditch while I went to get our truck. She only had to wait two and a half hours by herself. I felt so bad that I let her buy churros while we waited in line to get back to the land of the free. Pictures coming when I have a few minutes to spare.

So, about a week ago, Rollergirl told me that helmet-hair was not going to be tolerated on our anniversary.
Being the huge romantic that I am, I couldn't imagine how helmet-hair could not be involved! So on Sunday we woke up early and drove the truck to here. ![]() ![]() Yay!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() This all makes me even happier to be married to this amazing woman. Oh yes, I did get a bucket of flowers for her too. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Went here for an absolutely amazing lunch.
![]() Apparently "Godorniz" means "delicious quail". ![]() This was also very yummy. Can't remember what it was called. ![]() Awesome anniversary lunch!

After lunch things went a little wrong.
I mentioned that we might run out of day light. Rollergirl said that she didn't want to rev her bike too much on the 20 miles of highway. So we swapped bikes, because like all know-it-all men, I knew that 250's are meant to be wrung out every now and then. I pinned it up the canyon! Then the bike started running badly and finally came to a halt at the side of the road. OOPS! So I did what anybody would have done. Left my loving wife and her dead bike hiding behind a bush and headed for the border at race pace. Straight to the front of the line. Load up truck. Buy insurance for truck. Cross back over border. 2 1/2 hours after leaving her, I was back and loaded her bike in the truck. Drove back to border. Ate tacos. Sat in line at border for 1 1/2 hours. Bought a flan from the funny vendor. We don't like flan. Spent last pesos on fresh churros. ![]() Made it home a little later than we had planned. I love you baby!
