Yeah, that was it. Hope to get some time to get down there after Thanksgiving weather permitting. I'd like to take a trip with as much dirt as possible from out your way and into the back way to San Diego sometime. Anyone know the routes or any interest, please let me know.

Yeah, good to get my head out! Work helps a lot, and breaking down as needed.
Thanks all for the thoughts and prayers and offers and such. Hey Layne, why are there four wheels on that big boxy motorcycle? Great pics...

I do miss the Mojave Preserve!
Those were great times guys! The beauty of Afton Canyon, the dunes, the full throttle runs, the food, most of all the fellowship! While I've been to the Mojave several time since, nothing compares to the "Preserve". This is why I ride a dual sport. Go anywhere do anything. Let's do it again!
Bob, I think I still have your insulated coffee mug. Tom those JAP bikes aren't so bad, are they? Remember I am still older than you. Layne, are you on 2 wheels or 4? Ramjet, I thought I was thinner back then.

Millwood OHV
Took a ride up to Perry's famous landmark yesterday.
![]() That is one overgrown trail. ![]() ![]() This was my first time exploring around the Millwood OHV area. I didn't see much single track. Did find alot of trails that are quickly becoming single track due to the lack of maintenance. ![]() ![]() The fall colors were nice and the soil still had nice moisture in it from the last storm. ![]() Did 147 miles testing my new gearing and fuel range. I think I may need a larger tank sooner than later. Scrambleon |

who do we ask permission to maintain the trails up there? Is there an interest to donate limited resources in updating and maintaining the area in a planned grid?
It would be fun to have a trail sign up there: sponsored by Central Valley Dual Sport Adv or something.
