+1 on that. Last time I augered, EVERY doc and nurse that saw me asked that same question "were you wearing a
helmet?" "Hell yes I was....I was in full moto gear!!!!!" Otherwise things might have been worse.That question got old quick...

No, I think it was the blow to my hand/arm that caused all the damage, not a direct blow to my shoulder.

My old teamate (19 year old punk) told me I would need 2 Surgeries, 1 to fix my shoulder and another to remove the sand from my vagina. Fucker.

Goofy, I have only ridden 1 Crf250X and it was bone stock and therefore very clogged up and slow. I really dont have a concept of what they are capable of. I love the 350, the motors are tough, the FI is dialed, they handle awesome, and they are surprisingly powerfull. The one I raced in the 500 was stock other than suspension mods and a fuel filter/hand guards/skidplate/ect.

Shoulder surgeries are tough, but it is a going to take a real magician to completely de-sand your hoo-hah. I hope those fancy Vail Dr's are up to the the task and have the right equipment.

But, if the surgery team has "safety third" stickers on ANYTHING I'd get a bit worried.
