I started this thread about High Desert Rides so we could have some fun and learn the trails we all know together. no one turned your thread into an ad space or promo for any event.

some of us are doing this ride and posted up about it.(i had done it a few years ago and it was rad!) i am in no way affiliated with the Lost Coyotes or any other group.

i'm cool with paying $45 for a good ride. and it'll be cool to see folks i haven't seen in awhile. and desert season is here!!! and it's my LAB2V shakedown ride (bike, GPS, roll chart, sand ).

When I start riding again I'll be riding parts of the old B to V racecourse on December 15. Staging at Minneola Rd. about a half mile off I-15 In Yermo. This is where they started the original race before moving the start a bit further north to the Harvard /Alvord road area. The route I have planned is fast and fun with great scenery. Anyone thinking of joining the ride must enjoy riding sand. Good sand riding skills a must. Route will be about 120 miles, no pavement. Lunch and fuel at Rasor Rd. Shell Station.


Ride is free and limited to a smallish group. We don't do alcohol breaks on my rides, if thats your thing, stick to your ride and drink crew. A beer or two max at lunch stop is no biggie but I find that dudes that want to drink all day and ride motorcycles are a liability, and I have no place for you on my rides. I do my drinkin after the ride.

i prefer Sunday rides but with enough notice i can try to pull off a Saturday.

What if I'm recovering from an injury and taking meds...what grain limit am I allowed to medicate with before I'm not allowed? What if I only drink two beers and they are 12% alcohol? What if I piss in a northerly direction but you only ride with people who piss in a southerly direction? What if you only ride with people who have crew cuts and a concealed weapon permit? If I show you some cop identification does that mean I can drink more than the allotted beer under your stern eye?
I think I am beginning to get a clearer picture why cops only hang with cops, it's all about control bro. No problems, I have no interest in being TOLD what to do and forced what to do, so as you say, I'll hang with "my" crew. You know, the freedom crew, where you can do anything you want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. Imagine that sh1t. I'm sure there are a few who would like to stomp their fascist boot in my face, the same freedom loving, truth, and justice folks that is. Do you hate me for my freedoms?
I don't have a "crew" specifically set out or apart. I ride with anyone who has a love for riding, AND a non-judgmental attitude. All are welcome, even the haters. You can't hate someone once you see them as equal human beings....yes, even the beer drinking riders. With all that said, I'd still help any one of you out there if ya needed my assistance.
