Did you try the HUBB? There are a few bikes for sale in Aus right now. I would post a wanted add say what you are looking for. You never know, you might find an American registered bike.. (makes it super easy to transfer the title).
I bought the KTM I am on now in the UK and my brother got me the plate and shipped it to me.

On the road again..... Yippppeeee!!!
DAY-356-357
10/24-25/2012 Ran around getting packed, had some Mate with Martin before he headed for work. Got a good picture of us wearing our work clothes and making fun of my awesome fantastic rad beard haha. I ran to the store and left a few nice bottles of wine and beer for him as a small thank you for everything he did for me. So awesome of him to go so far out of his way to help someone he had only known for two weeks in Mexico. I got to Memo’s house where I had left all of my gear and bike for the night. I grabbed two bottles of Scotch for him for everything he had done for me and how awesome he had been for the past month without ever meeting me before. I will truly miss those guys they have become dear friends in a very short time. I think they will miss my intoxicating aroma hahaha!!! I was off and was making good time who needs GPS; I realized I was on the wrong road maybe… I stopped and asked a guy; yup I was going south..?? Huh?? Well after a quick 40 mile detour I was back on track. The bike felt pretty good, not keeping constant speed while going down a long straight road is difficult but making it work. Constantly changing speed not rallying it quiet yet. It has started to kick out some black smoke and soot again that makes me nervous but emailed DakarMotos and they told me stop worrying, I set it up rich for break in.. (easier said than done with my history the past three months with the ol’ bike) It was a pretty straight forward ride along Rio Uruguay took my first border crossing to Uruguay. On the way in I patted my stuffed animal (Animal from the Muppets) for good luck and rode over the huge bridge linking Argentina and Uruguay together. I got off the bike behind a bunch of Military guys and there K9 unit and we all walked into the immigration building. Dear all border crossings please take note how they do customs and immigration here it is awesome (Fray Bentos)!! Literally took 5 minutes and I was on my way again. I got yelled at by the Uruguay Military for not having a Uruguay sticker hahaha so they gave me an old beat up patch and I was on my way. I headed into the town of Fray Bentos, Uruguay; my 13th country. I headed south for 8km toward a small park on the river, I pulled into the first one and it was dead. I pulled into a camp ground and got chased out by three big dogs, I pulled back through a few times looking for someone and almost got bit so I was done and headed out. I went to the next park and found someone working and asked about camping, he said the season was still closed but I could throw up my tent for free in the picnic area. I setup my tent and grabbed a few beers before heading toward the river. The sunset was incredible, so nice to be back on the road again I missed it a lot. I love camping; I hung out drinking beer, getting eaten by skeeters, making some pastas, and reading up on where to go. Woke up in the morning, drank a lot of coffee, went for a walk, and packed up my gear. I headed south toward Colonia, it was a nice country road I stayed on Route 21 a small two lane country road that made me smile. I love my life and am so grateful for this experience, so so good. The good thing about having some motorcycle trouble is that it makes you realize and appreciate so much more when you are on the road again!! I made it to Colonia and pulled into this nice port town, rode around looking for a hostel to stay. I found a nice little place, cheap, and they would let me pull my bike into the small dining room. There was a massive two step entrance, the owner grabbed a old metal window gate and laid it down, I rallied up it, smacking skid plate, and shooting the gate across the sidewalk. We all had a good laugh and then they had me park in between two tables. ![]() I lost a memory card and just found it, this is the birthday present I got from my English mate David. Colonia uruguay
DAY-358-359
10/26-27/2012 I am guessing I was much more exhausted than I had thought I did not wake up until 1 o’clock, oh and Uruguay is another hour ahead who knew. So it is 4hrs ahead of Colorado. I walked around Colonia which is a really nice ritzy town, tons of rich rich people, which makes this place very expensive with lots of sailboats coming in for the weekend from Argentina. I was sitting in a small café near the pier when a big guy was sitting next to me wearing an Australian Rugby shirt. We struck up a conversation he was from Denmark, he asked me about my travels I told him I had been traveling for almost one year solo on my motorcycle. He said “nice I have been sailing around the world solo for the past two years” haha damn I was surprised and impressed. He invited me to check out his boat as well as asked if I could help him out moving his boat. So I jumped on his 46ft catamaran which was an incredible boat. We moved the boat slowly out to the harbor to anchor up to a buoy, I tossed ropes to the harbor workers. We just hungout on the boat for a bit securing it and then decided to meet up later to go drinking for a Good Friday night. We met up at 11 at the docks and headed into town, unfourtantly it was pretty dead. We went to the casino without luck and then finally found a little karaoke bar where we had a few beers and hung out. His name is Neil and he is freaking crazy and hilarious!!! He doesn’t give a *&%$ what people think of him he is loud and hilarious. He kept calling my Bin Laden and telling people to stand back that I was dangerous and should be searched for explosives. hahaha We parted ways sometime around 3am, planning to run into each other tomorrow. I woke up feeling pretty good and went and worked on my writing and pictures at the café for a long time. We met back up and went onto his boat to make some dinner and drink a lot of beers as the sun went down. There were tons of boats in the harbor now, all from Argentina coming over for the weekend. We headed into town and had a few drinks and then called it a night. I am planning on heading out tomorrow to my friend's house in Montevideo in the morning. ![]() NOT SURE IF I WOULD TRUST THIS BANK ![]() http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/.../life6of17.jpg ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() NEILS BOAT ![]() MEET NEIL ![]() IM ON A BOAT!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() NICE SUNSET ![]() NICE LITTLE WORK AREA/ DINNER ![]() NOTHING BEATS THIS ![]() THUMBS UP FOR RIDING ALONG WITH ME ON MY ADVENTURE ![]()

Forgot this story some how/... My bad
I totally forgot, today while riding in the rain toward Montevideo I remembered a funny story..
The other morning when I was leaving my camp spot headed for Colonia I came up onto a stop light and stopped behind a scooter. My head was down reading my map trying to figure out best way to get out of town when I saw off to my right all of the cars starting to move so I let off the clutch and started moving forward... Wack.. fuck.. Hahaha I ran into the back of the scooter, (barely tapped it) But enough to piss the lady off, She through her hands up and then sat in the turning lane (thats why she wasn't moving she was turning without a blinker.. sweet.. (still my fault should of been paying better attention) Well when she turned I noticed why she was pissed she had a 3 year old on her lap with no helmet.. gotta be kidding me.. I went to turn as well to talk with her but when she didn't make any indications that she was go to pull over I gave it gas straight ahead and went on my way.... hahahahaha

DAY 360-361
10/28-29/2012 Woke up planning on leaving, packed my gear up, took a shower, worked online, cooked lunch, and then by 2pm decided to stay hahaha. I went for an awesome relaxing walk and got completely caught up on all of my blogs and pictures. Had a quick dinner and was lying in bed when I heard the rain start, all through the night it raged. The hardest it has rained so far on this trip none stop, the courtyard flooded and I thought for sure the dorm room would to but did not. I woke up to it still pounding rain, got my gear on, coffee, paid, and the lady looked at me like I was crazy to leave during the rain. Yeah that’s right I am a badass Adventure rider…. Actually not really just a dumbass who really wants to ride today… hahahaha So I was off and was taking it easy it was raining pretty good had tapered off quite a bit but was still raining good. The farm land by the road was flooded; one part of the road I saw a cop go through ahead of me seemed deep so I slowed. It was deep; very deep all the way up past my saddle bags…. Glad I slowed or I probably would of went swimming... hahaha I made my way to Monte video with no problem pulled into town asked one guy which way toward my friends street. Rang the bell, my friend came out after a few rings (they were sleeping…whoops) I know them from my sailboat crossing from Panama to Colombia. They told me to pull my bike into the hallway and leave it… ugh that’s going to be a tight fit but I am down. I pulled all my gear off and slowly like a puzzle squeezed through the door… we hung out for an hour drinking Mate talking about the rest of their trip (they were finishing a 11 month rtw trip when I met them) and my trip so far.. Now I sit messing around with internet about to go for a walk and they are doing homework. ![]() ![]() RAIN RAIN RAIN RAIN ![]() PLAYING IN THE RAIN ![]() WEEEEEEEE!!! LOSING MY MIND ON A RAINY, STRAIGHT, PAVED, BORING ROAD..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT PARKING, SQUEEZE HER IN... HAHA

DAY-362-363
10/30-11/1/2012 Montevideo Walked around the waterfront with Marvelo and Ana for the day; they showed me the beach, the Uruguay Disney Land, the city, beach, and the rambla. I walked to the old city, and walked all around catching a few awesome sunsets over the past few days. We went to an awesome look out over Montevideo but didn’t get an amazing picture but still was awesome. We went to an old man’s bar, 7 local dudes hammered at 2pm where we ate and had an awesome pizza lunch. (Best pizza so far on the trip) haha On the second day I got fed a massive Asado lunch and for dinner an awesome quiche. I also had my first Tripe stew which was very interesting and very good; it has a very unique taste and smell but still very very good. We went for a massive 6 hour walk but it was great on the way home we stopped 4 times to pick up a liter of beer then keep walking and drinking beer!! I was planning on leaving on the 2nd and told them they were surprised and sad, they told me they thought I was going to stay a few weeks which was mighty kind of them. Then Marcelo’s made a phone call, and then he looked at me and said are you sure you want to leave we are going to have a massive Asado and drink beer all day tomorrow it is a holiday… Ugh really how can I say now, then he laughed and said actually it will be two different Asado one with Ana’s Parents and one with a group of friends. I laughed.. You had me at Asado… haha we were all feeling pretty good after our beer/walk and then grabbed a bottle of….. Ugh not sure of the name made from honey and is 25% but not mead. So we hungout in the park drinking which was awesome and then headed home for the night. Your allowed to walk around drinking I love this country other than it is damn expensive here. ![]() LIFE ON THE ROAD..
