Thanks for the update, Frank.
More importantly though, you wouldn't happen to know why one of the vessels is so close to Andover, would you?
Didn't you say that the ship shape icon stands for inbound tankers heading for Bayonne??

just a quick note. Thanks to the guys that made it out last night. I had an absolute blast, and I hope we threw a good party.
The motorcycles went over huge and everyone raved about how cool those pictures will be. can't wait to see them!
it was all a great sucess!

Kinda late to the party here, but if any of you inmates in Sussex/Warren still without power need a place to do some laundry, warm up a bit, charge your phone, etc, give me a shout via PM.

I would consider that a major success then, Iron! Had a house full last night. But some friends had gotten us a room to get away tonight!
Familiar to some taggers...... I will let you know tomorrow. No reason for you guys to think it is funny to bug me tonight

Bluhduh Sandy

I had a dream last night, that the power came back..
You might think I'm joking, but I really had a dream it was back!

All seriousness, week after hit of Sandy... Some roads are still closed in Clifton, still no power, nor heat (gas furnace setup, but needs juice to run it).
Thank God for the generator and some spliced extension cord tricks, we can stay warm, take a shower, even watch tv.

Luckily, the storm had no major impact on our family..
(not counting that day when I had to step out to refuel the generator, turn my back away from the garage door, when the door close itself in a stealth mode! I was throwing my T-shirt at the window, trying to get kids attention )
...what's the situation in your neck of the woods??

Well. The storm turned our roads into hot garbage. People could not even clear their our driveways since most trees had power lines with them. Power is coming back in most places. I was out for four days. The wood stove was clutch, as was filling the tub with water so we could flush the toilet. The conservatory had power Friday morning so the wedding went well without having to rent a shit load of generators. Win. The Andover inn got power, but no water. So the night of my wedding we had 8 people staying at my house, some sleeping on air mattresses borrowed from oems. It was actually really nice to be really great to stay up hearing stories about everyone's version of the night. But some friends chipped in and got us a night away in a nice B&B for a very restful night. Some taggers may recognize the joint....

A quick thanks to you guys who made it. People are still raving about how the night ended with motorcycles on the dance floor!

LED reading lights

No question that LED camping headlights and reading lights have been very handy after a week without electricity. Luckily the son even found one on our street last night!
