I also had one of these Yamaha GTS1000 for 3 years or so...really weird feel, or lack there of, from the front end. Fuel injection, ABS,...ahead of it's time, and priced that way also.

Moto Guzzi 850 T-3. Had it in college (mid 80's) until I tried to buy replacement parts and was told it would be three months and $75 for a turn signal lens. Swapped it for a Yamaha 650 Special. Not nearly as fun but much more friendly to a college student's budget. Wish I'd never sold that one.
