2-3 seasons in the hardest of times were good, weren't they?
...have you used up all the sidecar wannabes?

Maybe it's just the Community Ed part
WA now requires a special Sidecar (& 3-wheel) endorsement, right?
I'm guessing there's some riders up there that need some help to pass the rider's course....???

Ducati, KTM, Husky, BMW service in Chelan

Sorry to all of you that have been wanting work done. I have been offered a real job doing some really cool stuff. Thanks for the support and the work.

Hello all,

I am not a motorcycle dealer anymore, but as some of you know, I used to be Bend Euro Moto in Bend Oregon.
I moved up to Chelan WA and have been doing various aviation related projects.
I am doing a limited amount of motorcycle repair and service from my well equiped hangar/shop at the Chelan airport.

Things I have and can do include:

Full diagnostics for any Ducati bike.
6 gas analyzer for diagnostics
Ohlins suspension service, factory trained, all factory Ohlins tools.
Most other euro suspension such as WP and Marzocchi, as well as Showa and Kayaba stuff that is used on euro bikes.
Master Ducati tech, even have a thing hanging on the wall that says I am : )
Lots of BMW experience.
I have stuff like valve shims, seals, fluids, parts (although the supply is shrinking vis my Ebay store)
Full valve guide and valve seat cutting service for most motorcycle heads. I can do some porting work too, but is rarely needed or helps ADV bikes.

I know most ADV riders like a hands on approach to bike care, and I can work with that and help out with the stuff you can't do. I am also willing in instruct competant riders in proper maintenance and repair.

I charge $50.00 per hour, I will give a reasonably close estimate before work begins. I am more than willing to install the parts you bring with you, in fact I prefer to. I am also open to trades. Need the bike serviced before a big ride? No money?
Offer something up.

For large jobs (such as a big bore kit, valve job, and suspension rebuild on your Ducati track bike) I am willing to transport from the Wet Side in my enclosed trailer.

Bearcat Lodge

Maybe this is old news for some of you (I posted this on the Eug/Springfield thread as well), but if you're planning to ride out east next summer, be aware that the Bearcat Lodge in Seneca is no more. According to an 80-year-old grandmother at the gas station, JW Everitt (the former owner) went bankrupt and skipped the state, and the county sheriff cut a warrant for his arrest should he ever return to Grant County.

A young couple is trying to put together the money to buy the place and run a similar operation...minus the swindling.

unmolested cupcake of a 2002 DRZ 400S with 11.1k miles on the clock - $2150

Very clean, gently used, unmolested cupcake of a 2002 DRZ 400S with 11.1k miles on the clock and a whole lot more left. It was used solely as my work commuter and spent it's time with me putting along on surface streets, in the garage at home or in the garage at work. No highway time whatsoever and not used as a dirt bike either.

I threw on a few extra's including TT manual cam chain tensioner, CFC case guards, front and rear rim locks, tall handlebars and grip heaters. Has Acerbis handguards- not a mark on them, Kenda K270's, 14t front sprocket and nice gold chain as well.

Comes with OEM handlebars, OEM automatic cam chain tensioner, OEM front sprocket cover, OEM 15t front sprocket, new clutch cable, spare clutch case gasket for the well known DRZ water pump fix (if it ends up needing to be done), oil filters, oil plug crush washers and any other spare bits I have for it.

Tabs good to May 2013. Clean title, no issues with bike.

$2150 cash takes it. Don't be an ADV Flake... only contact me if you're serious and have cash in hand

Call or text four too phive nine eight phive seven too nine phive, and mention the DRZ. I will promptly get back to you with pics and any information you seek.

Thanks!

Good riddance. I have had 2 run in's with this guy when I ran Bend Euro Moto. I have video of him assulting employees there. I should post it, it is pretty embarassing for him since he got held on the ground by a 250 pound mechanic and then was made to leave. Funny thing is, his first stop after BEM was the Black Horse Saloon, and it just so happened the first employee assulted at my shops wife was the manager of that bar. Got him 86'd from there too.
This guy is a POS and I am hoping I never cross his cat loving stupid ass path again. Twice was enough.

Ride Oregon First!!!!!!!

Ride Oregon First: Cascade Discovery Route

Oregon is AWESOME
Oregon is BEAUTIFUL
Oregon offers endless Dual Sport Bliss.

You know you want to Ride Oregon First,
...no.....you MUST Ride Oregon First!
- and you know that you need a vacation with your best bud

But where? and how?.....Well,...Apple Jam has you covered.
Let me show you the absolute BEST time that you've ever had riding motorbikes in your entire lives.
The Secret Stuff. The Hard to Find Stuff. The really FUN Stuff.
The Stuff the Greenies don't know about, because their Priuses won't make it up the hill 1/10th that far.
The REALLY GOOD Stuff that most folks unknowingly... just ride past

On my 3-Day/Night Cascade Discovery Route Tour,
all logistics and all planning is on me.
Gas, Food & Water...It's all thought out ahead of time FOR you.
A great, hearty homecooked campsite dinner is on me for 3 nights, also.
You buy your gas along the Route, you buy your own snacks & drinks,
You pack your own water (I have a great filter), pack breakfast and lunch for each day,
...and I will, in turn, show you the BEST old untouched and unimproved dirty Dual Sport Roads,
one after another, after another, after another....after another.
With a couple of easy quad trails thrown in

You have rarely done so few miles, in such a hard working day, as you will while Touring the Cascade Discovery Route.
At first gas stop, a bit over 100 miles,
many riders are DONE after the 6+/- hours to get there.
Their face-cheeks hurt from massive, all-day-long, shit-eating grins,
Their butt-cheeks hurt from the beating their made-for-hiway seat has given them.
Their knees hurt from suspending their bodies over the bumps, rocks, water-bars, and erosion ruts.
The Cascade Discovery Route IS Big Bike Friendly (....ONLY if yer perty good )
.....and yet, this Route is still plenty fugging Thumper Rugged, and will challenge the 250-650 bikes, as well

The Cascade Discovery Route's Main Goals are, in order:
1) Touch as little pavement as possible for almost 400 miles.
2) Ride the Oldest and Most Historic and Rustic Roads in Oregon.
3) VERY Quick in & out for Gas & Food in Small Towns only.
- This is a BackCountry Experience you will not forget.

MOST IMPORTANTLY
......This Cascades Discovery Route Tour is a BACKCOUNTRY ADVENTURE
If you need Ramada at night and Starbucks in the morning,
...then this Tour may not be for you.
If you like silk sheets and forced air heat more than a down fluffy bag and a frozen morning saddle,
...then this Tour may not be for you.
If you really like fancy restaurants and cities with lots of moving cages,
...then this Tour may not be for you.

This Tour will Camp.
Not in no City-Boy, shower-down-the-isle, stack 'em up like cattle Campground either,
We're gonna...... like.... Stealth Camp, Nowhere Camp, Guerilla Camp.
Officially known to the Forest Sircus as "Dispersed Camp".
We'll have few City-Boy Luxuries, except what we can pack on our bikes,
- but, you'd be absolutely AMAZED at what Luxuries I CAN pack on a 990 Adventure

Campfire and a hot-cooked meal,
Ice & cocktails, cold beer, (all garbage is packed out)
Midnight Smoked Brats cooked slowly over the fire...
Natural Springs, Creeks and Rivers,
Sunsets over Mountains and Lakes,
Sunrise above Wilderness edged Wildflower-Filled Meadows
Twinkling Stars with no light pollution,
Absolute Quiet with no noise pollution.
*****
If you like THESE ^^^ things,
...then you've come to the right place.

Ride Oregon First: Cascade Discovery Route

My One and Two-Day Tours will take us in big, fun, dirty loops,
and lead us back to Hood River.
Hood River, Wasco, Clackamas counties offer ENDLESS, sweet, Dual Sport Motorcycling Bliss.
...Come share it with me !!

All Tours are customizeable and on-the-fly-flexible.
Some riders are fast. Some riders are slow.
Sometimes bikes break down,.... sometimes riders break down.
We will camp when it's time to camp, based on my riders and their desires.
We are never tied to a place to stay the night,
and I know ALL Of the best dispersed campspots along the way.

I am offering only Ride Oregon First Tours at this time,
I will not offer Cascade Discovery Route Tracks at this time, to keep these Tours' tracks exclusive.

These websites will regularly evolve, as my computer skills and patience evolves.
- so please don't be too hard on me if this process is slow.
I'm a blue-collar, motorbike-riding, analog country boy,
...not a cubicle-sitting digital native geek.

Thanks ADVrider.com !!!

Conur. Stayed at the his so called lodge one time and the guy has some majooooooooooooooooooor issues. It was almost comical as to how he thinks he's the greatest thing to bless the earth. If I'd of had to spend another minute around him I'd of jumped out of the nearest window (regardless of floor level).
