Still, it's in the name of science, and it would still be damn fun. You have to admit, it's better than the waisted Dakar entry on this 10-30 hp alternative. If I had $100,000 and a chance to try something spectacular, I think Patrick's bike would be an honorable choice. He does mention the torque being rather fantastic.

No doubt about that. Just meant that if the bike is indeed 180 kg I have even more respect by Patrick's endeavour!

he got hit by the stomach bugs as well and pulled out yesterday, but rode the short 125km stage today.
I reckon 70% of the bivouac has got it to some degree, Ben much worse than most

hi,
I did ride 56 km km before the first set of battery. We were testing new gear inside and outside. The gear were a little long for the dunes. But I rode the first dunes sections and the piste. Wich I passed many rider due to their navigtion mistake ;) The test are conclusive and more work has to be done at the factory in Itlay. The finish product will be even better after this live test. I have officially finish the rally even with many hours of penalties, but we knew about it. And guess what I won my category the NEW ENERGY category.. Only one in my class heheheBut it was a very good exerience for me, i was honored to be choosen to test pilot this amazing bike. Small step for me, big step for motorcycling!!! |

well i never only did 10 km. If it appear on the irritrack it because we decided not to run the stage and do testing on engine instead. But in any case, my team told me today to skip to the cp1 but i told them to go as much as we can, and try to make it to CP1. But at 5km from the CP1, i ran out and called them and they came with a new set of battery. I was in the dunes, but our driver did 18 Dakar, so no worries!
