Pinholes repair on gastank. Best way to fix?

So, I'm working on my frame up /7 project today and while sanding the gas tank notice that there are some small pinholes on the left bottom edge near the fuel petcock. I'm a experienced welder but for obvious reasons have always shy'd away from welding on gas tanks. Whats the best long range fix?
I'm planning on talking to a few of my welding buddies for best advise as well. I'll keep you guys posted on how the repair goes.
Thanks in advance.
Ernie

Fill the tank with argon then braze over the pin holes.

Be prepared to find a lot more pin holes that have not gone all the way though. If that's the case it will make welding difficult. A tank sealer may be an option worth considering.

Got another lead from the big fella in Ireland, Thanks Jay, So a few more pieces added to the jigsaw.

Seemingly unused Hub with a brand new deep valanced rim and stainless spokes. A pair of unused Koni dial a rides and an unused pair of rocker boxes all for the equivalent of $250. The guy selling them had a brand new Grimeca 4LS laced to another Akront, he qute rightly wanted big money for it so I had to pass, tempting as it was it's not the way I'm going with the bike

I have the same dilema, bought an incomplete R60/6 for parts for my R-75 ISDT project, then found everything but a transmission to complete the parts bike at Barbers fall festival, and the prices were almost give away. Now I gotta figure what to do with the R-60, maybe another dirt bike. I have a set of plastic fenders and a acerbes headlight. also a plastic tank, and a Husky seat will fit with some easy brackets. crap, another project!!!!!!
