Good day riders,
Just wondering if a mongrel ride is happening (in the works) before hunting season kicks off Thanksgiving ? Hopefully can get a couple dueler's into a Blackwater loop either sat/17th or sun/18th, possibly camp on Hurricane or Karick lake ??
Does anyone know the rider who rode the XR650L to Speck/Trot ? Would like to yap at him concerning possible tire selection for majority road use and bastion of back-up parts I possess in case he breaks something or looks to modify/shave some weight off that beast.

What's up guys. New comer here. From the area, been away for awhile. Just moved back here from NC.
Sold my 650r and now just have the 250R. Looking to hit some trails. Any local to the Pace area?

Always up for a get-together too.

JP - yea this is the last weekend for awhile before GUN season starts.
I am planning some BW riding next Saturday morning...starting from Karick Lake... that a ways off so we will see..

I have never ridden BW during hunting season... how is it out there with the hunter roaming around...

Only fella that I can think of that approachs your outlook on riding fun is Rearview.
Luke left us years ago and now looks like we again have a fella that can fill that personality gap.

Im in Pace area, near spencer field. There are a few of us in the Pace/Milton area though. Look forward to meeting up and riding sometime.

Just thought I'd let you ya'll know I'm selling a 2005 drz400s or looking to trade it for a smaller bike that'll fit me better.

The drz is just to much bike for me regrettably, I'm up for trading up/down for a 250.

Sounds like you might be part to the Special Forces group?

LOTS of good riding around here and we do a lot of it (that post count contains mostly riding plans/comments and very little chuckheadary.... not that theres anything wrong with that!)...

Anyway, get your Eglin permit and a Blackwater map and you are set...

Eglin permits are issued from Jackson Guard on HWY 85 in Niceville Fl. Cost 12 per year. You must have one to ride the Eglin Reservation with us...

Blackwater requires no permit and if you are in PACE you are very close to all that action.

The Evergreen Rotary Club is doing it's second ride this weekend, the 17th. The setup is similar to last year w/ a short safety briefing, couple of hours of riding local back roads (w/ a stop about halfway) and lunch at the end.

PM me for details if interested. Registration is only $25 and it goes to local projects. Ride leaves at 0930.
