My wife and I are going to be in Sweden next year (driving a car, but a really cool car) and I'm looking for recommendations for navigation software for iOS. I'm familiar with Navigon software in the US, works OK. Is Navigon a good choice for Sweden? Anything else that can be recommended? Has to be completely self-contained as I will not have a data plan in Sweden (no Waze, no Maps, etc.).
Thanks! markgsnw screwed with this post 11-12-2012 at 12:27 PM Reason: spelling correction |

Hello, I use Navigon. The Navigon app is good in Scandinavian. Have also used the app on mc around in small roads in Ital (alps) so it should be good enough.

Have used Copilot Live & Navigon (in Finland in Sweden) on my iPhone. Copilot was much preferred as more settings and possibilities were available (road type, vechicle type etc). Greater flexibility for route planning.

I have never used Navigon, but I think Sygic might be better. And it's certainly cheaper.
Make sure you get the european version, although you might want to buy the US one first so you can try it out.

Waze requires a data connection. Which I need to avoid. Also, I'm finding lately that Waze is not working well at all on my iPhone. |
