I was thinking about the BMW hand guards and want to see the wide pegs they have. Anyone get these and have a review?

The KLR is a beast and has only left me stranded once, not bad for a 15 year old pig with many miles under its belt. Unfortunately it was engine catastrophic failure. New motor new though. My brother will enjoy it and I will still get to beat on it. Hehe

The comfort package is mandatory. Even though I will be removing my vario case mounts for Touratech mounts, they saved the rear end of my bike when I hit the deer. I imagine if they weren't there my fuel tank probably would have been damaged.

Ya I don't have much experience with hard case mounting structures but when I looked at the vario case mounts I kinda was disappointed as I usually only carry soft cases. I'm a bit of a minimalist when it comes to carrying stuff. So they might be an option. I'll figure it all out when I get the bike in April. Till then it's sorting out what the important stuff to get is.

So I also bought a. 2002 XR250r I know in Ontario you can't get it street plated anymore, but is that the same across Canada?
I would love to plate this just to ride some of the stuff at my cottage. Who knows a way of getting around this B.S.
