He seems pretty well grounded. Coach Pete has gotten what he wants including stadium expansion, an indoor training facility, decent salary w/incentives and now a new football complex in the north end which screwed up our former tailgating spot with quick Greenbelt/Boise River access.

Former Boise coaches have not faired well - the grass is not always greener. Boise is a pretty decent head coaching gig - there is enough going on that the town doesn't revolve around the program and we have a lot of outdoor recreation.

W/a style win in Hawaii Boise State is clawing their way back to the top 25 but the locals are crying for a new QB, questioning the OC, and lamenting that we blew a possible a BCS bowl. Still spoiled in Ideehoe.

I'm uncomfortable with the word "deserves", but I would vote for Nike. Pac 12 Champ vs Big 12 (-2) Champ is good match this year.

For the media spectacle....Notre Dame. What a story it would be. There is still some ball to be played and anything can and will happen. Even though there are some wagon hoppers, there were very, very, very few that did not expect Alabama to win out. And certainly not to lose to A&M. Nobody in the BCS running can get complacent or deserve anything yet. That is what makes college football so interesting. Even if I can't fully comprehend the computer formula fabrication.

would all be good choices, but I'd also be looking at NFL coordinators with college experience. The trend seems to be more and more valuing NFL experience.
