Except COKE...you all remember this one? 1985... In the late 1990s, Sergio Zyman (VP Marketing at the time of the change) summed up the New Coke experience thus: Yes, it infuriated the public, cost a ton of money and lasted only 77 days before we reintroduced Coca-Cola Classic. Still, New Coke was a success because it revitalized the brand and reattached the public to Coke. Hah! PS...Sergio left Coke and went on to do 'marketing consultations' for many Fortune 500 companies. Go figure. LaurelPerryOnLand screwed with this post 11-13-2012 at 05:06 PM |

I have got to find something. Maybe this Karoo3 will be the ticket.
Put this TKC on less than a month ago. Probably 50/50 street/dirt. "Some" above-the-rated-speed work. Just got home from a little Hill Country mixed run. This weekend and Roll the Bones was 1600 miles. ![]() Performed flawlessly. Just too damn expensive to run.

Both these tires appear to be targeted on either side of the current Tourance. Looks to me like the EXP will be the one to go.

I bet they keep the EXP in the lineup but change the name to the "Metzeler Starbucks". What a piece of shit.

It looks pretty good but I was hoping for something a little closer to the Sahara 3 in GS sizes. Maybe Heidenau will make the Scout with a radial carcass.

Not much marketing hype about Tarmac performance...
Need to wait for them to hit the market for some real life reviews.

Nice to have more options when looking for 50/50 tires. Tried the K60 Scout's and I just ordered some Mitas E07 last night. Looking forward to try them but right now it's -17c outside and we have a foot of snow
, a few more months. I'll try those new karoo's once I have a better idea on how they wear! ![]() I wonder what's Metzeler means when they said: "The Karoo 3, a knobby tire made for bikers who love adventure and want to use their motorcycles for long off-road trips."
