Hello Bay Area Adventure Riders
Just wanted to stop in and say HI

I Ride a XR650L, split lanes, ride wheelies and park anywhere I fit.
I live in the North Bay and am a weekend warrior---have a company cage for work @ 50 + hours a week.

I also ride a FLTRU. if any one is down to ride in north bay shoot me a pm

I had to Google FLTRU. It's a Harley. Nice looking Honda. Very clean.

Hope you guys had a good trip! We're planning/hoping to ride the KLRs down to Saline Valley for Thanksgiving ... depending on the weather, I suppose ...

Looking forward to hearing about your trip, and any news about getting in and out of the Saline Valley ...

Nice Honda and nice Harley ... I have an '85 FXSB (Evo in Shovel-head four-speed frame) ... been up to Alaska a couple of times (not on my Harley), and 80% of the bikes I saw on the Alcan were Harleys ...

Most of my Harley buddies who are also on ADVrider have a KLR as their dual-sport bike ... nice to see your cool XR-L!

Hi all,

Hoping to see the usual suspects this afternoon at the Dirtbag Challenge! We'll be wandering around looking at all the cool bikes between 2 and 4 pm ...

After the Dirtbag, we'll be showing MotoGP at the San Francisco Motorcycle Club starting at around 5pm ... it's the last Moto GP race of the season ... 18th Street and Folsom ...

Hi everyone! I just picked up a 2000 W650 two weeks ago! I had 7022 when I bought it from my neighbor. Looking forward to meeting new people in around the SF Bay Area. Also on BARF and I think there are BARF members on here as well!

I wish I could go. Family will be in town, including both my new great nieces (born this last Feb and June).

Hi Just Paul,

Cool, if things work out we should see you in Saline Valley ... our pal is in a blue grass band and a bunch of his friends will be playing and singing around the campfire, if they can get their rental cars to the oasis ... ha.

Will you be two up on the 990? Are you planning on taking Steele Pass over to Beatty via Goldpoint ... and how are you planning on getting from Beatty to Panamint?

We're hoping to ride from San Francisco ... kind of hoping we can get over 50 and then head south, because I just slogged from SF down to Lake Isabella recently and don't want to do that again ... we'll probably head back via the Carrizo Plain and Parkfield ...

HI JOHN, I really like your club, I remember many years ago D36 heyday labor day weekend- at san jose famliy camp SFMC was always there. Did you ever go to that campout? I went 11 years in a row..

Sorry to say but it was a no go. I got sick and the weather turned cooled so I was in bed all weekend.
