Vibrations/grinding 950 in Vegas

Hi!
I feel some vibrations via my pegs that I do not like. When I accelerate it gets more, when I hold the speed it gets more constant, when I am in neutral or pull the clutch, there is nothing...
Could there be a connection between this and that the chain flew off some weeks ago? Any other possible reasons?
I am worried...
Does anyone know if the dealers in Las Vegas are ok or which one I should attend?
Thanks

I moved away from Las Vegas in 2004 so my info wouldn't be current. dad2bike is a Vegas guy.

Might send him a pm for suggestions.

Thank you for the answer. I cannot recommend the dealer in Vegas, nuff said.
The news are that the vibrations disappear when I take the luggage off. Even with a passenger (about 95kg) I could not feel it any more. Should I have it examined more closely before I head to South America?
Thank you

double check:

the chain and sprockets, perhaps over tight? or old?
engine mount bolts, the lower aft bolt tends to get loose
check all rear frame mount bolts.

The chain and sprockets are pretty new, I ride it on the loose side as I have a heavy load. But the bolts are no bad idea. I will check it tomorrow.
Thanks!

Here is the old one.
Sportsman Cycle (702) 641-6401

dad2bike may have better advice. Send him a PM. Try posting on my2wheels.com too. Lots of Vegas boys there. Good luck.

Thanks. I am no longer in Vegas. Was at Carter´s. Did not feel that they knew what they were doing...

The pre-2003 LC4 (620,625,640) had the main transmission bearing failure (ball bearings) that
some reported a vibration in the left peg before failure. Prolly not your issue, but just mentioning it.

If you put on an aftermarket sprocket of a different Rockwell Hardness it could cause rapid wear of the countershaft causing the splines to disentegrate

Inside Line Moto in Orange County California is a bit west of Vegas but they have fast reliable service and extensive experience having been with a top KTM dealer for 15 years
they are closed today
Its near Disneyland and the beach so you can check out the awesome California blondes and Mickey Mouse while youre there
