Pretty sure he did, I deleted the race though so can't confirm with pictures. But a corner or two before I'm almost positive he looked behind him.

Ah, right on. Who am I thinking of then? I know one of the back markers looked back at either Jorge or Pedrosa, might have been Ellison with Pedrosa.

RDP and Asparagus were passed just before he came up on Ellison, JLo BUMPED AE and then slid past RDP.

I heard him saying in an interview that he is happy to have a job like his, his cousins were back picking watermelons and all he had to do was ride 18 races a year and a bit of PR work.

Grounded is a good word for it. Hopefully he'll have the skill and equipment to contest some race wins next year.

I think that is what everyone really wants (fans, promoters, sponsors, factories & organizers), some good close racing.

We'll see what the change at the Ducati helm brings.
