Thanks for the great ride!
Great ride LooseNut and the LooseNut crew! Had a great time riding with Backmarker, RoadDad, FLCBRXX, and Indiana Bones. I'm a lurker here 99% of the time so I am not nearly as famous as the other riders in our group (LOL)! I missed out on the camping on Saturday nite (won't make that mistake again) and rode about 90 minutes of Sundays ride with RoadDad before I had to head back home. Hope to do it again next year! Best part of the ride was the great route. The worse part was missing out on the Saturday nite camping and most of the ride Sunday.
Our fearless leader of our group Backmarker! ![]() My lunch at the Wildcat Cafe in Mt. Vernon Saturday. Deep fried cheeseburger! ![]() Railroad crossing. Backmarker, FLCBRXX, and RoadDad. Indiana Bones is behind me taking pics too.

Loud Music at the Bar?
Loose Nut says he didn't like the loud music at the bar on Saturday night. I took photo of someone who respectfully desagrees!
![]() It was Halloween dress up as your favorite 70's rock star night (or something like that). and several were sporting some cool duds. This one was the best. I was with you L-nut! I was cashing out my tab shortly after this photo too!

So if I could give a little bit of constructive criticism.... Next year try to find a way to stay out of downtown Evansville on day 1. I would work on that somehow maybe even to the point of looking at a town above 64 for overnight instead of Rockport. Day 1 seemed really long and day 2 a little short in comparison. Maybe a little better balance? Loosenut had a really good mostly dirt way back into Evansville for those last 50 miles also.
I might also try to run this a little earlier in the year also. It was pretty cold in the AM and the weather is notoriously bad there in November. This would also avoid so many hunters in the woods. Just some thoughts. I really had fun as it was. Thanks for all the work to the crew .

Waterworks road to Henderson, gravel backroads along the river to Owensboro Ky, stop by Nicky Haydens farm and lap his flat track
, blue bridge back to Indiana and hit the river road from there. My idea for missing Evansville on Sat..
