If my long legged X-Challenge wasn't so sorted I'd be very interested in one of these Terra's. Pricing surprised me. Guess I am conditioned to BMW's price offerings.
"Flys Low", whats so shit about the gearbox? Granted its only 5 speed and at times I'd like a lower 1st but generally I have no issues with it. Assuming the Husky's gearing ratio's are the same as my Rotax's.

Agreed Tom. Looks like a good bike at a good price point. I'm sure they'll be some tanks coming out for this pretty quickly, hopefully Erik may jump on with these too.

I'm wondering about transferring my Hyperpro shock and WP48 forks over on to one of these and bodging up my x-rack.

The only thing that really concerns me is the extra weight over the XC, I was hoping they'd keep it down at the 155kg wet mark.

It seems clunky (if its like the recent GS650 I tried - maybe it gets better after break in tho), only has 5 ratios, IIRC 3rd and 4th seemed to be in different hemispheres... meanwhile the box in the TE630 was perfectly spaced, wide ratios and snicked between changes.

Honestly tho, even if its the same as the GS650 box its about the same a KLR or a DR (which is probably a better comparison), just next to the TE seems like a massive backward step.

My local dealer has Terras on the floor. He's agreed to call me when the Strada arrives. He said he isn't sure when they'll show up, but he expects them to show up any day now.

There are alot of things that shit me about this budget Husky.

Welded on passenger peg brackets.

Poorly designed brake pedal.

No chain guide.

No rimlocks.

No name rims and light gauge spokes.

Paper air filter.

Flimsy rear mudguard/ blinker/ rego plate setup.

Stepped seat.

All that and it has feck all suspension travel and it's a fatty................jeeeeeeeez.

I've started saving........hope to have one in the shed early next year.

save more money, buy a KTM 690, get pissed off, then sell it at a loss to buy the husky, you'll be better off
