Moab Remembered...

Top of the World is a must do for any die hard Moab riders. It's a straight forward easy ride there until the last 4 miles, then the real riding begins

This is what they call the Dewey Bridge. As far as I can tell, it used to be the old hwy 128 bridge over the Colorado River until it burnt. Now it's a National Monument...consisting of a bunch of dangling wires

This is the easy part of the last 4 miles...ya, that's the road

Parking at the top is limited to this...the cliff is right where they are standing. The guy on the CRF bike stopped there took off his helmet, had a crazzed look on his face and said, "That was one rough ride"! I had to agree with him. I don't think the ATVers had it so rough but I did see two of them a quarter mile from the top...they had stopped and weren't going any further!

But it's worth the trip...

F**cketbucket is messing you up You trying the new version? I had to go back to the old version, as I couldn't even get at the links to post photos.

Oh yeah, it wouldn't have been so sad if you had just pointed that rig south instead of north

use tapatalk app on mobile Greg. They even host the pics for you. I don't use fuckbucket much anymore. I just let tapatalk or Facebook host.

Moab, winding er up for the another year...

Rob's truck is all packed up...

He is passing his comments $%&#@ from the peanut gallery (motel window) as we load up ..

Just about done... a few more adjustments and all three bikes are tied down for the 2400KM trip home.

This it, closing up the door.

Thanks to Backroader JR for the use of his new Ford...great riding truck and from all accounts, just as thirsty as the other brands of pickups (when it comes to towning)

That's better BackRoader!! Great Photos!!

I stole this from Mark96 on the Winnipeg site. It's me climbing up the start of Hell's Revenge over at Slickrock. Glad he didn't show the return back down video...you can hear me whimper as my back and front tires kicked out a bit

Last of Moab....gone but not forgotten

This is the backside of Tusher Tunnel...there were a bunch of other crevases and caves along the backside

Arches and caves at Tusher

Paw print we found in one cave...who's

2whlrider checking out a cave

Weird coloured rocks at Cotter Mines...we weren't sure if these contained Uranium or not

Lappeman taking a run at the Gooney Bird foot from opposite direction...didn't feel right

This is the Gooney Bird foot...to give you an idea of how steep it really is. My front wheel was getting close to vertical and was lifting of the rock as I turned to come down

Hope you enjoyed our photo trip...I know we enjoyed being there and capturing these photos. Who knows where to next...

My KLX worked out quite well. Could have used more power at times but it did the job and I had no problems with it.
Fuel range was the shortest of all the bikes.

Mine is slightly modified (will lift the wheel in second) and has an aftermarket tank. About 300 km range.

Steve, (the main guy I ride with) has an Acerbis?? tank.

I'll have to ask him what his range is.

Ron, you have to give 2whlrider your secrets! I couldn't lift his wheels in any gear...and standing there trying to lift his wheels, I couldn't lift them...left black skid marks across the parking lot trying to move his bike I likened it to a 300lb moped Sorry 2whlrider, coudn't resist! Don't worry though, we'll have that bike setup and running mint by spring. Then you'll be running up and down Killer Hill doing circles around us

Ron, what size tank do you have on the KLX 250? What engine mods have been done?

Yes, do tell. I'm guessing it has a big bore kit put in among other things.

I had the 330 kit with fmf power bomb exhaust and pumper carb in my 06. It probably made double the power of stock but still not much for the weight of the bike. Only got 220k to a tank with the acerbis.
