Thanks for the info guys, and yes it is the Belmar in Mazatlan. There is a great coffee shop a few doors down called the Looney Bean. I'm Durango tonight at the Mileno Gran Turismo for 355p a night, an the hotel next door is 280p a night. :/ Oh well. Headed to Monterrey tomorrow, hopefully I'll find a good place.

I met Hector and he took some photos of the bike and I. I also met the owner of Baja Ferries as he was on a group ride when I was headed to La Paz last week.

Good!! Maybe now they'll sell me that one, I have been trying to buy it for a few years now to add to my Mexican, tiki Hut, palapa, boys club I have been constructing.... I already have the main ingredient...

I've made a start on adding these locations to a Google map. So far I've logged Lone Rider's suggestions.

I haven't been very precise with the position of the markers, as most places don't have a specific address.

I hope it helps with trip planning.

The map can be found here. Feel free to add to it, but try to keep the format from the posts here. If you want to move a marker to an exact spot, just drag it. Please don't mess it up. If you have any questions, PM me first!

I'm thinking of adding interesting ride routes, warnings, advice, and anything else that might be useful. Suggestions welcome!

This is a great idea. It's about time someone started a map like this. Thanks!.

I will add a few points when I get a chance. Can you put tracks on this map or just points? It would be nice to put good routes as well. I have never seen this before and need to get my head into how this works.

Thanks again

Yes, you can add routes; I'll be adding the great ride MikeMike showed us today.

Points of interest and warnings too if you want.

Craneguy, I got on the Google map today, it's coming along. I couldn't figure out how to add to your map. It let me create my own map but not add to this one? If we want to add data should we send it to you?

SR, it should be editable by anyone, so I'm not sure what's going on.

I don't really have the time to update it; my plan was to get it started and let the community build on that.

I'll check it out and get back to you.

I'll take another look then. Have other people successfully added data?

I had missed a check-mark that would let anyone edit it. You should be good to go now.
