Comment From mom: How many of the bikes have the "live tracker" on, does anyone know?? I know 5x has one, what about the others???

Comment From Troy Carpenter: The 5x KTM (Caselli) is the only pro moto with a tracker...? So much for following the race of the century HONDA vs KAWI vs KTM in "real time"

Comment From mom: Hey Troy Carpenter, thanks. Yes, that just isn't right that we can't track all the pro bikes. They should be required to use the live tracker . . . My son, Kurt, said the device is kind of heavy (easy to put on a truck). But, I think it makes for a cleaner race and certainly more fun to watch live time. Thanks.

Comment From Troy Carpenter: Hi "Mom"... agree with you... all the pro's should run the trackers... same wieght for everyone - no ad/disadvantage to anyone, and everyone can see everyone else... just pure racing, no "card tricks"

I believe that rule is that they can't use the chopper after riding to move ahead and get back on.

Aha... so the "reserve" or team boss can be in a chopper overhead to "drop in" when and if needed...?

Okay, I read the "no fly" thing previously and assumed that if you were down to ride that air transport was a no-no...

Lot's at stake for this race, so you would use whatever the rules allowed you to I guess.

I had heard that Toby was over there for a ride... buit did not know in what capacity or on what bike (did not see his name on any roster). The chopper would be the best seat in the house to watch the race up front unfold in any case...

Do you know what # bike that Jake is on, and where he is riding (what section of the race)... saw of facebook that he had been pre-running.
