Lots of variables to consider, but say you were running (4) x 35 Watt HIDs at 35 Watts each for a total of 140 Watts.

You would end up with almost a 12 amp battery drain, so with a 24 amp hour battery you would be looking at only 2 hours of light. Really no advantage except for small size. Marine Deep Cycle Lithium batteries exist but are super expensive.

If you went with an LED light bar you could get by with much lower drain....

To be honest, the 4 cell just went on backorder after the Redbastard got the last one. The next shipment will arrive by the end of the week, but I won't be able to get it to you Saturday. We have Earth X models to fit pretty much every bike, but they are slightly more expensive.

My X-Challenge takes a Yuasa YTZ10S and it is pretty snug. Would you happen to know the largest EarthX battery that will fit (ETX18C maybe?). Or would I need to stick with one of the "B" size? Thanks.

Geez, I know those are tight... helped a friend install a battery in one... What is your max dimensions and I can check for you.

FWIW, I was able to barely fit a 12cell Ballistic battery in that red plastic body...

Not sure on the box without tearing it apart, but even where there is room, the cables tend to take up that space. The YTZ10s is 6 x 3 7/16 x 3 11/16 (per Yuasa). The box could possibly tolerate more width, but the cables run beside the battery so I'm not sure I'd want too go much wider (Thicker). If I recall right, not much room to go up either. Probably some room to spare length-wise, maybe a bit over 6" would fit. Ideally, probably nothing more than about 1/8" bigger than a typical YTZ10s, maybe 1/4" to play with on the length dimension.

For a more powerful battery I think the ETX18B should fit nicely assuming you have a lttle room for the height of 4"

I measured more precisely than the specs:

5.290'" L x 2.625" W x 4.05" H

They come with small pieces of adhesive foam since it's a narrower battery, the cabling may work better.

When I get a minute I'll tear the bike apart and see how it looks to be certain. DiscoDino fit the 12 cell Balistic, which is listed at 4.25" high, so it should probably work. Thanks for the assistance! (and to DD too).
