Got"new" used 1,85 DID rim from Woodys today! I have not tried it yet but I can already say that I can recommend this shop from my heart. Great service, nice and skilled people, who understand the situation one is in and even give things and service that is not for granted!!!
Looking forward to put it on and ride tomorrow...

What a difference! I can finally take my hands off the handlebar. There is no bouncing at all any more. And the narrower rim feels great on dirt! Just when I came onto a paved road for the first time after 16 miles, it felt weird, but I will get used to it!
Good decision to invest a bit and to find peace of mind! Saddled up today for new adventures further south... |
