Won't be at Hira this arvo, having a KLR shed day with a few speed runs to test a secret modification that I have devised in my head Mwahahahaha.

Will probly make it even slower but have to try.

No, trying to reposition the airbox inlet away from the rear wheel. Worked okay but bike barely got to 100km/h so didn't work at all really. Then I left the key on and the battery went flat.

An outing for the small bikes. Lamb Valley is a great venue, Haven't been out there for a couple of years. They used to use (probably still do) a couple of long killer hills as part of the main track, so not somewhere I'd take the 640 in the wet, even with fresh S12s.

I missed the shed night as I was out riding, need to catch up wolfie to discuss/sort suspension on the GS

Anytime. Gotta dial in my 200 now, the front end is terrible set to standard, way too stiff.

What're people up to over the Christmas/New Year break? I'm keen for some forest riding on the 200. Though Hira is looking unlikely there's the two other permitted forests available. Everyone get their permits paid up by today? Servicing and fettling the 640 in the next week so maybe not much of a window for adventuring.

Also, one day between the 28th Dec and 1st Jan, most likely 29th or 30th, I will be driving a car with the 640 on the trailer around to the south end of the Heaphy track, leaving the car & trailer and riding the 640 home. Anyone interested in joining in and maybe doing some exploring on the way back? I can't stay out overnight, but you may wish to make it into more than a day ride.

Only gave myself weekends off (dumass).
