9th Annual Echo Toy Run
Saturday. December 1, 2012
Ride leaves Echo, Oregon at noon sharp and will be police escorted to the Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston, Oregon. Please bring a new, non-giftwrapped toy. Warm refreshments and munchies will be waiting in Good Shepherd's cafeteria especially for us (free). All are welcome. Ride, drive, whatever. Please park the louder bikes in front of the Bank. This event will take place regardless of the weather so if it's too crappy to ride, drive instead. There are a lot of kids that need these toys. More info; Al Sells 541-571-1820 or Mark Ettesvold 541-667-3460 panhead_dan screwed with this post 11-17-2012 at 03:52 PM |

A wonderful cause.
Although, as a kid i was a big fan of cardboard noise makers pegged to my "harley" spokes...what kid doesn't love a rumble, healthy or temporarily incapacitated! You're there to cheer them up!! Will try to make it, spoked pegs & all.

Thanks! Glad to hear you'll be there.
The reason we like to park the louder machines in front of the bank is the noise sets off the alarm. Childish, I know but it's tradition. The bank's owner is a rider too and he understands tradition. He don't like it much, but he understands. By the way, the little restaurant in Echo has a killer breakfast!

It was a perfect day, a great turnout (150 bikes and 4 cages), and 2 huge bins were filled with toys!
Thanks to all who attended. ![]() Dan
