Hey Alex, I spent a few minutes today on Advrider catching up with your travels. NZ sounds great. If you make your way back to Chicago, give me a shout & I'll return the favor from Vladivostok. :)

Kia Ora; Enjoy your stay in NZ. It is a wonderful place if you like the outdoors. Lived there for 3 years and loved it. Just keep doing what you are doing and the place will grow on you big time. The people are very kind and will help you immensely. Tyr some sail whilst you are in Auckalnd and have a crack at following some rugby.

Laugh placesto see

When you get settled and want some more places to go, try The Bay of Plenty area,Whakatane up to the East Cape.
While in the bay area try the helicopter ride out to White Island - magic !
Enjoy N.Z.

Agree, that was beautiful bike. If I didn't need money at the time I wouldn't sell it for sure. It had 300K on odometer and easily could do another 300K I think.

Thanks, I was there only once shortly, going there again to look around :-)

Meanwhile I'm still in NZ. I've got Resident Visa here on Dec 2012, moved to Chch, moved back to Auckland, changed couple of jobs... I've sold Super Tenere before last Christmas and recently got a HD (I know, I know...) :-)))

It's FXDB Dyna Street Bob 2007, NZ new (what means I'm first owner of this bike here in NZ since it's been imported from US). All parts work good there so far, so I hope to update this thread with new ride pics shortly :-))))

I've been riding today with my friend, some fresh photos coming up.

Meeting point - airfiled of North Shore Aero Club, it's nice to watch small airplanes taking off and landing over there. :-)

Company has arrived

A bit more airplanes and heading to cafe in other town (North from Auckland).

this car below had label "FOR SALE 27000" (NZ$), impressive but expensive...

Launch here, coffee there, Muriwai beach on our way back to watch part of sunset and final stop in Kumeu before going home.

Sunday is about to end, new work week is coming. Stay tuned
