Trade me GPS
I've been looking for a replacement GPS, as I must have dropped my Garmin once too often, along with the bike or sometimes just losing it. Anyway, I found this on trade me. It seems to be a good deal. Has anyone tested it?
![]() http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-533659348.htm Come with a handle bar holder and is supposed to be a rugged design. It can be bout directly from China for $183, but I suppose it won't have NZ maps then. What do you guys think, apart from that I am a cheap bastard?

I just found some threads about this unit on advrider, so you can ignore this. But I am still interested to hear about anyone's experience with this unit.

the trade me version has maps installed. Apparently people run it on IGO 8. If I sound as if I know what I am talking about, don't be fooled.
People are happy with it, for the price. It is supposed to be well made and comes with a mostly metal mount. I am tempted, because it can be handy, but I don't use it a lot, So paying big bucks for some handle bar bling is out of the question.

Assuming you are looking to use this for the Shoei Dusty Butt check if you can upload Garmin route files too it and you can navigate in off road mode.
Don't make me have to convert to another file format (please !!!). Got two different Garmin route files, going to see if I can get TomTom units to work given lots of people asking. Cheers R
