Texas is the only place....

...where I have seen waffles in the shape of the state in some hotel chains here, and I have been to 45 out of the 50. Man, ya just gotta love Texas!

Some stuff from our ride into Canada June 2012

Poutine- Olde Quebec- tastes better than it looks. A traditional dish here.

Smoked salmon and Brie baguette

Scallops, fresh out of the water- Lunenburg, Nova Scotia

foo-fooey UPscale lobster roll, also in Lunenburg

Lobster Benedict- Lunenburg Nova Scotia

Would any trip to Canada be complete without a stop at a Tim Horton's?

Is that a variant of the dish? I thought poutine was fries (chips?) brown gravy and cheese curds. That looks like it has some extra stuff going on.

Laugh

Gjuterigatan (Foundry street) in Karlstad, Sweden is a street with a lot of motorcycle-dealers and other motor-related companies. This can easily bee seen at the local and very popular burger- and hotdog-stand:

So where's the BMW-burger you may ask. It goes under GMC-burger, that does not relate to General Motors, but Görans MC that sells KTM, Husaberg, Kawasaki and BMW.
