I own 2 and I am 41. Guzzi has the toughest time getting over opinions like this. Too bad because the bikes/prices are great. Griso, stelvio prices have dropped recently. Very good bargains.

Guzzi 1400 alt is 550 watts. IIRC, my SP1000 was 320 watts, might have been 280.

While I'd rather have 650 watts, if Toad can live with the 5.4 gallon tank, I can live with 550 watts

Also, I'd like to see one with a fairing.

I think it'd look nice, and at the right price, I'd be very tempted.

So what is your idea of a pretty bike? The cal1400 "outlooks" every HD in existence IMO.

The Griso isn't bad, but I never thought of it as beautiful.

The only thing I don't like about the cal1400 is the gauge pod stuck up on top of the headlight. It looks like a poorly done aftermarket ad-on by some clueless owner.

I think it looks gorgeous... lots of subtle and distinctive lines. One of the best looking cruisers I've ever seen! :)

I think it looks great, especially the black one. I'm not interested in 700+lb motorcycles, but I hope they sell a bunch.

Somebody here in the twin cities has an old Eldorado and brings it to all the vintage shows. While everyone is ogling the cafe bikes so popular with the new generation of hipsters, I can't help but admire the lines of this bike.

The new 1400 is every bit as beautiful, with all the modern conveniences.
