An often overlooked easy upgrade is a pair of Motion Pro fork bleeder valves. They make equalizing the fork air pressure as simple as pushing each bleeder.
Best $20 that I have spent on my 990.

Like seatbelts & life insurance, you HOPE you never need them, but you'd be a fool to assume so.

I've ordered the CJ Designs rear rack. What is the optimal Pelican case to mount to this and how have folks done it? Also can the Gobi/KTM aluminum case be modified to mount to this? I want versatility

Handy Farkles
Speaking of Ergos for your girlfriend.......
I took my Flexx Handle bars off my 450MXC and bolted them on my 09' 990R. Perfect height and love the cushion on my soft wear (hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders.) Off came the bendomatic hand guards. Replaced with Highway Dirtbikes Beefy hand guards with folding mirrors. Their system works great. Room on the top clamp for extra switches. The mirrors are awesome, steady with no vibrations at speed, amd they fold away inside the guards. VERY SANO I realise this term will date me big time. http://www.highwaydirtbikes.com |
