Entenmann's was headquartered in my home town when I was a kid. A single huge bakery back then. Trips to the thrift store resulted in a huge haul of goodies. Now my favorite bakery is Ruth and Rudy's in San Carlos. Real Euro style breads and pastries. We received a care package last week, German rye bread, choco eclairs and cream puffs. If you are in San Carlos you need to stop in, get some coffee and some pastry.

This morning, I was thinking maybe I was wrong about the Mexico is safe thing. These hombres marched by the hotel this morning. Menacing looking bunch.
 Oddly, they were followed by a marching bands and some floats. Overcoming my fear, I followed them to the plaza where I saw these  And then I heard music and saw this  A fun parade for Dia de Revolution and a great performance by our awarding winning local folk dance group. Tierra y Libertad. Viva Mexico.
