It's pretty simple to see that a gas cutoff saw was used here.
Let's blame it on the construction industry...

Now about fencing and closing...
But does a construction worker ride a dirt bike... or go to a Barbara Streisand concert ?

They'll find a way too come back around to us !

You have hurt me, sir. "You don't bring me flowers..."

I could be wrong, but it would seem $$$ was the motivation for these acts. Simple act of steal and sell it would seem.

They probably snapped some pictures a while ago and circulated them until a buyer was found. Then they went and harvested the goods.

The real shame is that even if they are caught the penalty wouldn't nearly even fit the crime. It's nearly impossible to prevent things like this from happening. Maybe a shoot first and ask questions later appraoch would slow'em down a little.

Don't know what is worse , some major ass doing this or the even bigger more profound "DICK" that would pay for these. Most likely the same type person that would demand the removal of access for OHV's as they show off their collection of artifacts while sipping overpriced fermented grape juice.
( nothing against good wine, just saying)

+1,000,000,000

To bad they weren't caught, shot, and scalped
And I'll bet if the cops found their worthless corpses next to the tools they used they would find it as justifiable homicide and close the case right there

Disgusting POS sub humans

Bummer

This is happened right in my backyard. I rode near this area last Saturday. There are several Indian drawing areas that are well marked for the public to visit and others that are not marked to keep this thing from happening. Not that many people go out there so It wouldnt be hard to dammage them. Hopefully they get caught.

Then I guess we didn't do our job, did we.

Honestly, this is no ones fault but the Shitheads who did it and the shittierheads who are/have bought it.

Too bad that the value of these things are in the fact that they could be seen and enjoyed by all. They're worth nothing now. Not even the Native Ammericans would want them back post-desecration.

Does anyone know if there is anything we can do to help with what's left?

Yeah, report suspicious people with masonry tools in the middle of nowhere. Maybe this thread should be moved to another place where it will get wider attention, or a new thread addressing thievery/vandalism of natural monuments.

It will likely happen again, but maybe not in this area. If some rich criminal from another country is collecting (seems more likely than a domestic collector), he/she will probably be ordering up more goods. Will it be Utah, New Mexico, Colorado? Our country is in transition to another type of government, and we are being harvested during this weak time.

People who ride in areas with pieces small enough to ship should know to keep an eye out. Don't wait until the government asks for our help, because budget shortages will have them hobbled for a few more years at least.

It reminds me of the smash & grabs happening right now in ancient Greece.
