It works great. I haven't done anything aggressive enough on the pavement for it to kick in, and when I am offroad I disable it because I love how well the rear end slides around on the 800!

I bought mine off the internet from Scotts.
They asked me what I was putting it on.
I included the info -The F800 GS - and they custom built the bar clamp for my bike.
They set it for on / off road dampening.
It can be adjusted for all road or all dirt - in many different ways - as described in the instructions.
I had BMW install it.

You were able to get the Altrider bars to fit your 2013. I got a used set from some one in the flea market. They don't fit. I looked on the Alt rider website and looks like they have a new design for my 2013.

Are your bars for the 2013 or old bars you made work on a 2013.

Any opinions on Altrider crashbars vs. Adventure Spec crash bars?

And here's the left side. Shifted a little, but still plenty of protection. Pivot pegz, 2 touratechs and a MOD skid plate.



Again, solid piece of work that covers high up enough and protects not only the engine, but the fairing. And when you do drop it and it shifts... good luck. Those things are solid and won't accordion, but shift right-left (or vice versa)
