Did you call KTM Twins? Also as far as I can tell none of those 5 photo's show a rim protector.

Duct tape is not so good in the hot desert. The glue turns into a gooey mess and the tape slides around and gets bunched up leaving little to no protection for the tube. There are other alternatives.
I know of a woman who used bandaids over her nipples. |
