Hello there!

I was wondering whether you could help me out - for this summer I plan to ride from the Netherlands to Greece (link to the planning topic & site are in my signature), and as it is I'll probably be spending the first week of August 2013 within your country's borders. I've heard from Mr Pif that camping is no problem (as long as it's done at the appropriate sites) but it might even be cooler to meet up with some of you along the way (maybe even possible couch surfing?).

My route will take me from Igoumenitsa to Patra, down along the west coast towards Cape Tenaron, then up through Nafplio and Athens towards Lamia and Ioannina before going into Albania. I'm open to suggestions on any further Greek additions... Greece is the main priority on the trip, and the way it is now there's 5 riding days, with 2 extra days to play with. Also, if you have any extra tips, I'm all ears.

So let me hear ya!

I will be happy to meet up with you and help you out - show you around.

Also, I usually travel for work in Europe and most of the time I ride my bike, so shoot me an e-mail maybe I ride back to athens with you...

You could also think of coming to Crete for 3 days. You can take the boat from Gytheion and come to Kastelli Kissamos and the leave from Heraklion to Athens.
