Conrod bearings

Ok, I need some advice here please.
The old conrod bearings are not the same as the new ones in this picture.

The old one has a hole in the top and is not split like this one. The part nr is the same and I pressed them in with the slot facing the hole in the conrod. But now the piston pin seems like it needs to be pressed in aswell wich cant be right? It feels too tight.

Also, I weighed the lot separately to split the parts in two to try and equal the weight of the piston-conrod assembly, is this a waste of time?
