Congrats on the new Austrian dirt hog. I think she needs a mud bath though.

I installed some orange LED strip lights. The video doesn't show it, but the color matches the bike's color well.
I had to install a relay for each side to make it blink opposite the stock blinkers. 0:45 video <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/BpcYnWRSu_k" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="560"></iframe> Making the connections...

Akarob...Looks pretty good.
I changed the ECU map back to the factory settings to see if I could get my mileage back up near 40mpg. The previous map got me about 30 ![]() and of course I had to test it....So I took the thermos and got the Mrs. some coffee ![]() While getting the Global wildcard tag and finding a new tag

Thanks. The color in the video isn't very good. Here's a shot that shows them on in the daylight.
* The lights in the tree are a separate string of individual LEDs that I wired up to provide a guiding light back to the tent in the dead of night. They're a permanent part of my camping kit now. I leave them on all night.

![]() Winter riding improvement. Bought em from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. They mount on with cinch straps. Held open with metal straps (in the cuff) and will keep the cold off of my hands when I am riding. Looking forward to winter riding in my summer gloves. And better gas mileage than my truck.

Santa Cruz and winter should never be used in the same sentence.......50 degrees is not winter.
Those things do work great when it gets below freezing...

I find that summer gloves are still a little thin under 45 degrees (but I have poor circulation in my fingers and toes) so I'm going to take the insulation out of the palms of my winter gloves and see if I can actually get my hands sweaty in below 40 temps. I currently can't even feel the grip heaters through them. Sent from my HTC using jazz hands.

![]() Looks like I finally managed to break Hair's weld up for an early sidestand relocation. I guess I need to decide whether to clean up the broken weld and redo it or get a relocate kit. Likely I'll just redo it as it's been a great solution so far and has lasted all this time with a fair bit of abuse. I kinda like the ProMotoBillet stands and would be tempted if there were a good bracket solution to use the PMB but haven't seen much on that.

![]() I also swapped my 05.5s glovebox for a newer style. Cable lock is setup with a basic cable clamp for the lock mech.

Tucked it in the corner of the garage (along with my Wife's bike) for a long winters nap.

Did you stabilize the gas and hook up the battery tender?
