Let's back up a little bit to the hot springs and hot archeologists. Neffr and I are recovering from our 4.9 mile ride and this suv drives up with these two gals who are with a group staying in McDermitt. They are cataloging the ancient sites that have been exposed by the fire.

Killurtv is a bit awestruck.

You can see where this is heading.

More carnage

The next morning there is some reluctance to face the world.

In the end we choose to soldier on. Into the burn we go.

Then into the snow:

LittlePosum is killin' it

MrDualSport and LittlePosum christmas card

Wachs searching for a way out

Neffr "I think it is this way. I'll check it out"

No Exit. Free Balling the descent

Back the way we came. One more water crossing. Neffr is not getting wet this time.

That's the back story as far as I can tell. What a great time. Thanks to Kent for hauling my ass and gear all the way to Willow and having to listen to me the whole fucking time. Wachs and Ryan for being badass role models and to Justin and Stacey for letting us be a part of their B'day Adventure.
